In recent years, the mainland has emphasized the Fengqiao Experience, which emphasizes "resolving conflicts locally rather than escalating them." I also presented research on grassroots governance in Hong Kong at Jinan University in Guangzhou, interviewing district councilors, members of the three councils, and community workers such as community care teams to explore the possibility of resident co-governance. The seminar was hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Federation of Social Sciences and organized by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Think Tank Association and the Institute for One Country, Two Systems and Basic Law at Jinan University. More than 100 experts and scholars participated, enabling the three regions to work together to promote the modernization of social governance in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and to build academic consensus for regional development.
