The "Personal Data (Privacy) (Amendment) Bill 2021", commonly known as the "Anti-Drawing Law", was read for the first and second readings in the Legislative Council earlier, and it is proposed to criminalize the act of doxxing. Some people believe that the amendment can protect personal privacy. On the other hand, technology giants such as Facebook and Google, as well as local small and medium-sized enterprises, are worried about the provision and are worried about its impact on Internet freedom.
