"Three Places Children's Voice Cup" Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Trilingual Speech Competition

At the "Three Places Children's Voice Cup", we saw young people from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area vividly telling the scientific research spirit of Academician Yuan Longping, the struggle of Quan Hongchan and the literary style of Su Shi in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, etc. We co-organized this trilingual speech contest with the Hong Kong Education Bureau, Foshan Nanhai Education Bureau and the Hong Kong Speech and Debate Association. It not only demonstrated the excellent language control ability and stage style of the young generation, but also let us see how they build a bridge of cultural understanding through language, tell the story of Hong Kong with sincere emotions, and convey the core values of Chinese culture.

Through fieldwork and research, students explored family, school, and community histories—many writing their first-ever history essay. 21st Century Education Forum 2025

The survey found that most Hong Kong people do not like their jobs. In the past year, my team has examined whether students' growth indicators and career plans are consistent with future workplace needs, and also helped employers rethink their talent selection standards and training strategies. In the "Growth Indicators for Primary and Secondary School Students" dialogue at the "21st Century Education Forum 2025", I shared my research results with researchers and practitioners from different fields and faced a core question: When Hong Kong's economic structure transforms and global workplace demands change dramatically, can the current education indicators still effectively guide student growth? From various speeches and discussions, I deeply feel that the challenge of education lies not only in the updating of knowledge content, but also in the reconstruction of values and the redesign of the system.

Seek Our Ways Social Innovation Project

As a mentor in the Seek Our Ways Social Innovation Program, which is fully supported by Hang Seng Bank and organized by the Youth Association Leadership Academy, I have worked with more than 400 secondary and tertiary students from all over Hong Kong in the past six months. Through policy analysis and social innovation training, I witnessed how they transformed their creativity into influential action plans. I led a series of policy analysis workshops to help students understand the institutional roots behind social problems and learn how to propose forward-looking solutions based on evidence and public interest. It was a meaningful experience to be able to intensively train them to be creative in the three major themes of "environment and sustainable development", "sports for all" and "healthy aging". The students who advanced to the finals presented innovative solutions ranging from plastic substitutes, matching platforms for elderly centers, to eco-friendly leather made from apple peels. They are not just participants, but also designers of the future society 😁.

National Study Tour Conference 2025

The promotion of community education over the past three years has gradually gained recognition from all walks of life. This time, we were invited to participate in the "National Research and Study Innovation Conference 2025" (Guiyang), with the theme of "Drawing on Local Materials: SDG Education Theory and Research and Study Practice", to share how to achieve innovative models of cultural and tourism integration through curriculum design. In addition to communicating with industry experts, I also analyzed "The Real and Virtual Battlefield of Trade Frictions" for high school students at Tsinghua Middle School and explored global issues from an economic perspective. From community podiums to national forums, and from professional seminars to academic popularization, we strive to ensure that every conversation allows knowledge to transcend boundaries.
